Zemgus Girgensons on the Latvian team will be worth watching. Likely going to be a top 15 pick in the upcoming draft.

Well, we do have the reigning champs in our group.. ;)

I wanna see our first line be dominant today.

Sweden wins 8-2
while Latvian defence is probably weakest part, I think we are capable to get 2-3 goals even against Sweden. As for Sweden, anytihng less than 5 goals could be easily considered as dissapointment. Now I'll just have to wait and see/read how far from truth I'm.

Please, be gentle Sweden, because this probably will be the only game I'll see in full. :)

Sweden is imo not built to score in bunches, but we did score 8 against Denmark and 5 against Canada. Anything in that ballpark would be considered alright for Sweden I guess. But it's the first game, some players will no doubt be quite nervous.

Don´t care about the score as long as we win the game, would love to see the first line get going though. I did not think they played very well in the game against Canada. I would also like Collberg to step up, he is much better than what he showed last game. Then also, don´t give up any SH-goals, thanks.

I want success for Latvia, but not on our expense ;) Hopefully we'll show them where the cupboard is supposed to stand, as we say in Sviden. :)

That's rather strange expression. Will you show us how to redesign the kitchen? :sarcasm:

And by the way, I pray it's not a blowout.

I'm expecting Latvia to suprise a few people this tournament, They've got a decent goaltender, hopefully he manages to stand on his head.

Gonne predict this one suprisengly close, 4-2 Sweden

I'll say 5-2 Sweden. I think Gudlevskis will have a solid game, but historically Latvia simply allows too many shots from teams like Sweden in this tournament to ever truly be in these games. I hope they surprise me and prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

If we'll let in 5 goals or less and score at least once, then I won't be very upset. Though I'm hoping for something else :handclap:
