It's in the summer, and well, there's nothing really else to talk about..

What have been some of the best hockey games you've watched on tv/witnessed live? Any hockey goes, so NHL, international hockey, SEL, KHL, ect...

May 29 2004, game 3 of the cup finals! Nose bleeds but great game, including the Iggy/Vinny fight! Who says Sutter hockey isn't entertaining!

The entire Flyers/Pens playoff series 3 years ago was beyond epic. It had a ton of goals, it was as physical as games get, trash talk, the fans were insane, it's what playoff hockey should be. I bought a Giroux jersey after watching that.

Watching Calgary beat the Red Wings in Game 6 2004. Loudest I have ever heard the dome. Will never forget that one.

Watching Kiprusoff and Brodeur battle it out at the Saddledome, 0 - 0 going into overtime. Was a treat to watch my two favorite goaltenders ever, battle it out like that.

I'll compile a list tomorrow, but the Hawks/Kings game 7 that went to OT is definitely up there for me.

That game in 2012-2013 season between the Flames and Wings. When Begin scored two goals from empty netters because Howard went to play the puck and messed both times. Also that same game when Kipper let a goal in from the Wings zone.

Greatest game ever.

The Chicago game from a couple seasons ago that caused Glencross to need therapy!

We didn't win, but it was probably the most exciting hockey I've ever watched.

1) Flames - Nashville brawl, including Kiprusoff and Vokoun... That was awesome.

2) January 18th (my birthday) - Flames are the reason Vancouver had a downfall, that brawl was amazing (even Butler won his fight).

3) Women's Olympic Gold Medal Game ---> Canada coming back and scoring 2 goals with under 5 minutes left in the game, then scoring in OT.

There will never be a hockey experience greater than Canada - USA 2010 Olympic gold medal game in my entire lifetime.

I think the only way it could be surpassed if Kipper and Iggy went back in time with Kipper somehow attaining Canadian citizenship and being in net for that game instead of Luongo, and Iginla scoring off of Crosby's assist instead of vice versa.

Flames beating the Leafs in OT Game 7 for the Cup would be just about the only thing that could top it, but I don't see that one happening for awhile...

Here's my top five.. Am probably forgetting some games but whatever

5. LA Kings @ Chicago Blackhawks- Game Seven 2014

Game Seven, Conference Finals, OT, this game had everything. In my opinion, you could feel the emotion inside the building through your TV. Constant intense play throughout the whole game.

4. Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins- Game One 2013

What a comeback by the Bruins, especially a game seven.. What a crazy game..

3. San Jose Sharks @ Calgary Flames- Game Three 2008

What a great game, the comeback, the Sarich hit on Marleau, it was an epic game.

2. USA @ Canada- 2014 Olympics Women's Gold Medal Game

What a crazy comeback by our ladies, was such a great game considering I was watching the game with a bunch of American friends.. The most crazy part of the whole game was when the USA hit the post at the very end of the game.. I thought my heart skipped a beat when that happened!

1. USA @ Canada- 2010 Olympics Men's Gold Medal Game

Don't need to explain this.

Honorable Mentions

USA @ Canada 2007 WJC Semi Finals
Russia @ Canada 2010 Olympics Semi Finals
Russia @ Canada 2009 WJC Semi Finals
2013 Stanley Cup Finals Blackhawks @ Bruins- Game Seven
2010 Stanley Cup Finals Blackhawks @ Flyers- Game Six
The entire 2006 Stanley Cup Finals- Don't care if the Oilers were in the finals, that was an AMAZING series.

That Flames/Ducks brawl when Berube went bat**** crazy. That was a good one too, didn't Iginla make Blysma his ***** that night? Explains why he handled him so poorly in the 2013 playoffs :sarcasm:

Has anyone mentioned the 1986 game against the Oilers when Steve Smith scores one of the biggest games in our franchise history

Some of my favourite Regular Season Games, that I remember watching:

St.Louis Blues @ Calgary Flames- 23/12/14

Ottawa Senators @ Montreal Canadiens- 16/3/14

Calgary Flames @ Edmonton Oilers- 22/3/14

Calgary Flames @ Detroit Red Wings- 12/3/09

I could include that Blackhawks-Flames game a few years ago (the amazing comeback), but I'd rather not :(

Feb 5, 2011 Kings beat the Flames 3-2
Flames were on a roll making a push for the playoffs. I live in Ontario and took a weeks vacation to travel to Calgary and watch 4 Flame games.( I booked trip in Sept) This game was my first game ever at the Dome. Just the excitement of being there and watching it live was incredible. Then, it goes to shootout. Went through enough shooters that the Flames actually let Iginla (who is the main reason I spent all that money to travel to Calgary) take a shot. I thought it was destiny. My first game and Iginla is going to win it in a shoot out. Well, Iginla missed and the Kings won the game when Justin Williams scored on his attempt. No matter, it was the greatest game I had seen.

Flames @ Canucks, game 7. Iginla nearly gets a hat trick to win the game but some ******** Nucks fan throws something on the ice, stops the puck, and nearly costs Calgary the series.

I've hated that team ever since.

Game 7 Bruins vs Flyers

Philly already came back in the series from 3-0 to 3-3.

Then in game 7 bruins are up 3-0 in the game and rather early.

Philly completes the comeback in the game and wins the series. Loved as a Flyers fan.

^ Out of that list, I sure wish we still had Regehr. He was my favorite defenseman, and all we got was s*** for him. I love Byron, but he's not even close to that value yet.
