If I'm the Rangers i seriously consider playing Edstrom over Pitlick at least for a few games. In the offseason or while he's up with the team have Kreider mentor him on screens/deflections with the eventual goal of parking him net front on PP2 in a year or 2.

Scoreline flatters us a bit, I don't think we were great defensively. Banking more points though and great to see Edstrom come up and play a strong game.
Will be interesting to see what what we do with him

First line was immaculate defensively. 0 high danger chances against. Fox looked real Fox like for the first time in a few games which was good to see. Edstrom played a hell of a game even putting the goal aside, didn’t look outmatched or too slow really. Quick was very good again.

Only negative was they let the ducks get in behind the D maybe 4 or 5 times that were kept out of the net by a combo of Quick and d-men stopping loose pucks right in front. A better team would have put half of those in.
