As great as a lot of these are, you really can’t beat Svech’s second lacrosse goal. To score like that, in transition, in that kind of game? Unreal.

And I’m a huge fan of great passing plays leading to goals. Whitney to Sutter was already posted, as as Aho’s goal against Philly (though the full highlight shows the great passing leading up to it), so I’ll just remark again how smooth Slavin’s game-winner was last game. Up the ice, on the stick, then catching Slavin with speed? Nice...

This one was a pretty crazy backhander from Dwyer after some nice stickhandling along the wall. Always stuck out to me for whatever reason.

I mean, recency bias side, the best two goals of the decade happened in the last two weeks. Probably the best two goals in franchise history, in fact. Makes this a tricky exercise

Somehow, the thing that stands out most in that video is how hideous those Sabres' jerseys are. What a depressing experience it must have been been to watch a 54 point team play in those atrocities.
