I think Bernier is vastly overrated. Personally I'd say I've been more impressed by what I've seen from other goalies in the draft, Helenius being #1 by a wide margin and only first round.

I've seen alot of Lewiston's games

Cliche is a hell of a prospect. Bernier vastly overrated????!?!?1 Even vastly is too kind...i'd say he's big big TIME overrated. I don't like his positioning and his glove. He got destroyed by Little, at the prospects game.

It was just 1 game...you can say you dont like him but bringing up the prospects game doesnt help your argument.

I just like how most people on this board dropped Bernier out of the first round on one little All-Star game. Sure he isn't the next Marc Andre Fluery or another super prospect goalie. Sure he small but 2.70 GAA 4th in the Q (technically 5th but the leader has under 1000 minutes of playing time) on a 500. Lewiston Club is darn good he kept the team in games. Oh by the way he had a very good U-18's w/ no defense.

Semen Varlamov from Russia is another excellent prospect who has starting potential.

From what I've seen, Irving has impressed me a lot more then Bernier. Obviously they all stand a chance at being a starter...but I think Helenius and Irving both have better chance then Bernier.

I havent heard much about Hoivonen. I want to, but no one has given me enough info for me to say where he will be drafted. Finnish goalies are in demand so i can see him get drafted, but no idea where!
