Announcement: We have signed captain Kyle Okposo to a 1 year, $2.5m deal with a $500K bonus when we win the cup. We have also signed defenseman Ryan Johnson to his ELC.
Sabres likely done. We were looking at swapping Olofsson with another forward but we will let Olofsson score his goals and re-evaluate during the season if the opportunity arises as the interest wasn't there during the offseason.
Fixed our biggest problem by adding Hellebuyck for next year. Comrie will serve as backup to start while Levi gets tons of games in as our AHL starter. He will be up during part of the season to learn from Helle and build his confidence at the NHL level.
Pleased to add Murphy to address our next biggest issue on the right side. Will bring a lot of experience and a nice defensive minded RHD partner for Power. Probably still our weakest position going forward but will focus on adding to our D pipeline to improve the depth beyond our "big 3" D - the addition of Johnson to the pool is a nice start and he will likely be a frequent contributor to our team this year even.
Our forwards remains young and stacked, just with the addition of a solid 3C in Dvorak to take faceoffs and contribute to our team in all-situations. With Savoie, Kulich, Rosen, Ostlund and more on the way, we should be set on offense for years to come.

We feel while this roster massively underperformed last year, they will bounce back this year. We added JT Miller to add more offense to the roster. We also will see some big improvement with the young guys. We also won’t keep trying to ride Markstrom when he’s not playing well.

I do not have time to sit here and negotiate with it. None of them are bad at all. If you didn’t like it and wanted to take time to volunteer and help you could have.
Also would like to thank everyone for participating in this game. I know a few tried to ruin it but felt overall it was pretty successful. This will likely be my retirement from running GM games at least for a while. Forgot how many keyboard warriors who won’t volunteer to help but have no issue criticizing others for helping come out of the woodworks.

Unfortunately sometimes people take these games way too seriously. They’re meant to be fun and a way for those who maybe aren’t as interested in the playoffs if their team is out or during the summer when nothing is going on.
