nuuwendyk was a great player but killer in his prime was a 130 point selke winner. not an easy thing to compete with.

Gilmour was much better defensively and was probably also better offensively all things considered and he peaked higher. Nieuwendyk was better at scoring goals.

Doug was better in his prime and is the better player.
