Was digging around the German Hockey Federation site, I think this is their final roster:
G: Thomas Greiss (86), Youri Ziffzer (86)
D: Raphael Kapzan (85), Marco Schutz (85), Benedikt Schopper (85), Moritz Muller (86), Steffen Tolzer (85), Tobias Draxinger (85), Robert Dietrich (86), Jens Baxmann (85)
FW: Danny Albrecht (85), Felix Schutz (87), Ulrich Maurer (85), Fabio Carciola (85), Marcus Kink (85), Kai Hospelt (85), Alexander Janzen (85), Andre Reiss (86), Markus Schmidt (85), Sachar Blank (85), Andre Rankel (85), Florian Busch (85)
You will notice that they've named 8 defenseman and 12 forwards... not sure what to make of that.
Germany had 12 eligible players to come back from the team that qualified for this year's WJC, but Frank Hordler (D), Alexander Feistl (FW) and Tomas Schenkel (FW) were omitted. Feistl did score three goals on last year's team.
Marcuk Kink (5 5-6-11), Ulrich Maurer (5 2-7-9) and Fabio Carciola (5 3-5-8) are their top returning scorers. They have two returning defensemen in Kapzan and Draxinger and they return last year's backup to Patrick Ehelechner, Thomas Greiss.
