We had not done well at the faceoff dot all night, but that was huge for O'Reilly to get that faceoff to start OT!
Possesion is king. Josi tried a half ass breakout. Lucky Fil snagged it.
O'Reilly's effort to at least get a stick on that puck allows Fil to do his thing.

Staal dominates faceoffs. He ate our lunch for most of the game, as did Aho. So it is no small feat to tie him up.

Had to miss this one but glad to see the train kept rolling. 12-3 in our last 15 which is the best stretch of hockey in a couple of years. Here’s to hoping we keep it up moving forward unlike that years team did.

We may cool off some, but the style of play seems like it should lend itself better to some sustainability. We're aggressive and trying to play fast. A couple years ago it was all physical, trying to out hit, out bruise, and out fight everyone in another jersey.
