That was probably Vinni's last shift this game. What a miserable fly by angle to take on Meier, that is what got Pitlick in the dog house.

The one that cost the goal was just an execution issue, it happens for a guy early on especially when he is cold, it looked bad, but recoverable if he responded well. I do not think that he did respond well in the next two shifts, cheated his positioning.

The goal of a PP system should be to break the box and get teams scrambling/chasing. The current Wild PP does not try to break the box they try to get shots through the box and score off of a bounce in the scrum.

I wonder how much of this and the general lack of pace for the top line is because of how much they are playing -- it could be that they are just tired. In any case, it's tough to watch.
