Oscar Hedman's solid. His play on MacArthur right there was nice as he prevented the canadian forward from taking a shot on goal.

Agreed. Swedish chance is to beat Finland or Slovakia..

This is where the injury to Linus Persson worries me. Now we're short on centers..

not really, sebastian karlsson has been playing with LP on the fourth line and both are natural centers. So only difference, I guess, would be björn svensson getting to play instead of the injured LP.

Team Canada is really impressive tonight. They were under pressure when the double PP occured but they answered quickly and strongly!

Ok. I heard Nilsson and Eriksson has been taking faceoffs. What do you think about bringing in a replacement, there's still quite a few games to play.. :dunno:

David Rautio is good.

Wow, he looks a lot like Henrik Lundqvist, very good positional goaltender.

No. Sebastian is a center. So this won´t be a prob. Linus is a powerplayspecialist, so thats a worry. But still, imo i think Sebastian will do a good job and replace him well.

Not sure how the rules are, but I can't see no harm in bringing over a hardworking Anton Axelsson.

Shots are 43-16. That's with 3 5-3 advantages. Sweden has I believe 10 or 11 shots on the PP, so even strength we're talking 30-5/6

Sweden

The game yesterday between sweden-germany was pretty close the difference yesterday was the goalie and he was better helped by his defenders
to day the goalies in sweden seems to have no help at all.
sweden allowed 25 shots yesterday but to day they seems scared or actually they not fast enough

Loui Eriksson and Robert Nilsson were brutal.

Niklas Bergfors was really good despite not playing much.

Nice, I read that he was arguably the top Swede in the first game vs Germany as well.

Well I think it's fair to say that Canada is the heavy favorite of the WJC now! Or is it old news?

How was Salmonsson, Söderberg?
Salmonsson is still lanky, he had a lot of problems with the physical Canadian players and didn't do much offensively.

Soderberg was good, he's strong and he definitely impressed me.

Im sayin 8-1 Canada. Brent Sutter gave them all wake up call after the game aganst Solvakia and Anthony Steward is also going to step it up for Canada and Canada is just going to dominate in every department, especially where the struggled last game.

Thank you very much, I said 8-1..... and people say i dont know what im talkin about....phfft

Linberg named player of the game for Sweden.

Canada destroyed Sweden.Soderberg (this guy has nice size)didn't play an impressive game imo(He played an average game).Salmonsson was average.Richards was giving bonecrushing hits during all the game.Sweden played defence during almost all the game. The swedish d's will make a lot of nightmares tonight.

I'm really not impressed by Ladd.

Incredibly impressive performance by Canada. MUCH MUCH MUCH better game then against Slovakia. Pretty impressive when you can spend nearly half the game on the penalty kill and still manage to win 8-1, really shows the talent level of this team.

Pretty much everyone played great tonight. Dawes, Getzlaf, Dixon, Stewart all had serious bounce back games, playing great.

Mike Richards, Dion Phaneuf and Brent Seabrook had unbelievable games.

Just an awesome game.
