Taking a lesser return in order to send a player to a non-division rival is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. A few regular season games against a division rival isn't going to win you the Cup. And in the games that matter, the playoffs, you're just as likely to play any random team as the team you're so worried about. Idiocy.

Don't forget that next year with the new divisions you are guaranteed to play a division rival in the first 2 rounds...
