Per usual, stats from ESPN, TSN and NHL.com and most likely inaccurate

Blues are a legit contender in my eyes, so another huge challenge here.

We were opportunistic in the 1st matchup and took them, but they outplayed us. Opposite of the Nashville game.

I see that an OT win for the good guys would leave St.Louis with an identical home record to our away ditto. The universe likes these things. Hence…

This is an important game. The Caps are 5-0-1 lately and creeping up and the Rangers just won. The Bruins just lost but have been winning lately as well…the Pens havent been as good recently as those teams tbh…they have to get their shit together and soon or they could be falling into WC territory..theyre probably going to see Husso for the first time and he’s been really good. I hope we start seeing a complete game from the Pens and soon, including finishing on our chances

I wouldn't mind the Blues taking it physically to the Pens tonight. It would give the FO a valuable look ahead of how they'll respond come playoffs.

thank you for your time

ZAR to be a scratch? Who is the guy coaching our team right now and what has he done with Sully?!?

For allegedly only missing last game due to being sick, that sure looks like a healthy scratch for ZAR tonight to me.

Also I like those D pairs, it's what I think they should be running with at this point.

On one hand I'm like "cool, ZAR sucks and I'm glad he's finally being scratched", while on the other I'm just assuming he's the guy Sully's giving a rest to so he's fresh for the playoffs.

I’m not sure there’s a WORSE fit for Sid, than Kap.

Remember that game sid went intentionally offsides because he was pissed at horny? Oh yea it’d be that all night.

I thought that was Scuderi who wouldn't give him the puck in the 2014 Rags series?

If anyone can work with and fix the awful player Kap's become it's the notoriously difficult to fit with Sidney Crosby.

I find myself curiously detached from games just prior to the trade deadline. I think part of it is I'm holding my breath waiting to see what kind of moves are made so I can get invested in a team that's "going for it" or a team that's just going with what it's currently got.

How much time have they spent together? Can't be more than like 8 shifts.

I swear it was a few games while Rust was gone. SMall sample size for sure, but I'm trying to save an asset that's going to be shipped out for pennies on the dollar.
Just makes sense you'd try to salvage this player.
