Season is quickly coming to an end.

Should we rest guys or keep our momentum going and not get rusty?

Joe Thornton would prefer to keep playing regardless, “but I’m sure if Pete (DeBoer) said, ‘Hey you’re taking a day off,’ I would. But for me, it’s all about timing, rhythm. I feel healthier when I play. I just like to play games. I’ve always been like that.â€

I'll confirm line ups later.

SJ likely line up

Hertl-jumbo-pavs
Karlsson-couture-donskoi

Nashville likely line up

Not to many players like to sit games. Even if it is for a better cause of long term health.

I don't think many studies have been done on it but the intensity jump in the playoffs is real and sitting out extra time before could make it hard to get out of the gate.

But who knows what's better. Jones clearly does better with rest but guys like burns have played a ton all year and look no worse for wear.

Please don't lose to the Preds. Although honestly I don't really care about playoff seeding so I don't mind losing either.

Sharks 3-2

Hertl, Couture, Pavelski
Johansen, Josi

My wife and I were originally going to do our annual Sharks roadie for this trip (Nash/Minny), but glad we decided not to. Would have sucked to travel if the boys are being so open about their fate sealed in terms of playoff positioning and not really pushing the pace to lower injury risk.

Can't wait for the playoffs.

Good that Hutton is starting. If Rinne started, they would have gotten shut out since he's gotten pulled twice this week. :sarcasm:

2-1 Sharks

Burns, Ward
Forsberg

The Preds are probably the only team where both goalies have our number every single game. Backup or not. It's a lose-lose.

Speaking of which,

3-1 Preds
Johansen, Smith, Wilson
Marleau
