Yeah, not thrilled with Czarnik call up. So Yzerman tells us no trade deadline moves because a call up from GR would be better, no way he meant Austin Czarnik.

Needed to take a swing with someone who has bigger plans in the org, be it Mazur or Kasper, I don't care which.

I do think Czarnik makes sense if it's because of some sort of day to day minor injury where they weren't 100% sure if he would even be playing when originally deciding who to call up

You had a winger playing center, paired with the 2 defensively weakest wingers. They got targeted in away games by the opponents top lines and obviously got destroyed. Seems weird to me, to wait for home ice advantage to change it.

Kasper, Mazur, and Ed will get called up when the team gets eliminated from the playoffs and goes into tank mode. The number of games they get will depend entirely on when Larkin returns. If he doesn't come back next week, the team is toast.
