Some questions and observations after watching in person tonight:
Can we permanently bench Carpenter? He was awful and now that Tuch has to play on the third line he's ruining that line by plodding up the ice and going to strange places in the offensive zone.
Why don't we screen goalies more?
Merrill's resurgence is real, love how he doesn't pull a Miller and just try to shoot the puck as hard as possible as it if will go through the goalie, but mixes up his shots and shot passes. Plus he's so much better in his own end now.
Marchessault really needs to learn how to pass once in awhile, he's like the basketball player everyone knows is just going to try to shoot and its usually a bad shot. Is it any wonder why Wild Bill doesn't score any more?
Teams in the playoffs are going to abuse the Knights tendency to get backed in too deep in their own end, way too many trailing players can easily walk in when four players are below the face off circles.
