The Rangers downfall is not bending the rules and getting dirty. I’m being 100% serious. This core is too “gentlemanly” and plays the right way.

Florida commits penalties all game all over the ice and they absolutely have a huge advantage because of it. Tons of interference, tons of obstruction, just every shift. Ref can’t call everything. And in doing so they set the standard of what is allowed and isn’t allowed. This group needs to learn to bend the rules. Play dirty.

Florida is just gapping them up all game and they don’t have to skill to beat it. But they aren’t good enough forecheckers to dump it in and get it. Thats why they don’t generate offense against good teams.

This has been the team's problem in a nutshell. We don't skate well enough to force teams to back up at their own blueline.

that's a bad one for igor. would love to see the team bail him out, even if for no other reason than keeping him from dwelling on costing the team because he wears stuff like that for a bit and it hurts his play.
