On the topic of pizza, have any of you that experienced New York's finest ever try the secret hidden pizza joint in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas? Wondering how it stacks up...
I lived in Vegas for a decade before moving back east. Secret Pizza can be very hit or miss. Plus if you go at the wrong time, the line can take 45 mins to over an hour just to pick up a few slices.

I haven't been since pre-covid, but when it was good, it was very good. I've also had a very average slices from them but ate it anyway cause I was VERY hungry.

Bottom line it's EXTREMELY PRICY! Probably up to $10 a slice I'm assuming at this point. If there's no line, it won't hurt to grab a slice or two. If the line is half way down the hallway, I'd pass.

FYI, The best pizza in Vegas is downtown off the strip at a place called Good Pie. Brooklyn guy opened it up & makes phenomenal pizza. One of the best grandma slices in the country.

I've had the secret place twice before the pandemic, 1-2 years apart, in the 2016-2018 timeframe.

I must have lucked out because it was great and due to the conferences I must have hit the spot outside of peek times. (on each trip I visited them a 2-3 times lol)

Whenever I get back there I'll certainly check out Good Pie. Thanks!

Yeah if you go during the day between 2-5, you can get in & out of there. If you go anytime in the evening, it's a crap shoot. If there's a concert at the Cosmo or the nightclub Marquis let's out, forget it, you're waiting an eternity. I rarely ate there, maybe once a year, as a local it's just too much of a hassle.

When Good Pie opened in 2018, that became my 2nd home. Although there is also Grimaldis, which my girlfriend preferred when we still lived there. They have a few locations on & off the strip & it's a solid pizza option.
