Why is staggering games for the NHL Redzone equivalent?

They are going to have a program that jumps in between games all night. Kind of like On the Fly on NHL network but they want there to be at least one game playing at all times

What's with the weird times?

has to do with the NHL's attempt of 'NFL Redzone'. Need games to be live at all times. Staggered start times help that.

if you look at the schedule, it's dumb. Games start at 6pm and then, for the most part, every 15 minutes, another games start. ( until it gets late )
