It's important to jump on teams that are out of contention early and hard. As witnessed by the recent feeble Oilers effort, most of these teams will completely collapse if given the excuse. (Note the different effort of the Oilers from the two previous games of the series.) Why risk injury or even a better draft pick?

However, if these out-of-the-playoff teams are still competitive early in the game, they might rally to win one "to salvage some pride."

So, come out quick and come out (Vegas) strong. The house of cards will fall.

Somewhere in Oregon.
Wonder if there's any chance we see Max in net. He played against the Habs in November...wasn't terrible.

Just curious with the Ducks in town Monday, divisional game, four-point game, etc., etc., etc.

Yay Leipsic is back :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:

Also good to see Sbisa back (Who would have thought at the start of the season anyone would ever say that) Pity it's for Theodore, but at least it's only the Flu

As Hang005 said, it's better than an injury.

I worry, however, that this real Las Vegas flu might be contagious.

Watching Hockey Night in Canada (Pens-Leafs) in background.

It looks like the Pens are ramping up for another run for the Cup.

(I'm still shocked that Malkin wasn't on the top 100 all-time list.)
