ive always liked the flames, calgary just seems like one of the unique cities in western canada and love the jerseys. plus with johnny hockey they were always fun to watch.

the rangers owe this team a thumping tho. they buried the rangers last year in pretty embarrassing fashion twice, showed them up in doing so, and the fans were way over the top with fox in cal. there's also the fact that sutter has butchered the rangers wherever hes been. so yea, i really want a very convincing win. that said, after seeing the performance coming off the short holiday break...im worried the rangers come out and drop a big ol turd at center ice again.

very cool seeing the rangers last 5 leaderboard featuring kakko and chytil tho. if the vets could start contributing anything with the kids continuing around this level of production the rangers would be a PROBLEM.

Nice to have a 3 game stretch at home before the schedule gets tough and they are away for 6/7, including the Western Canada trip next week. It's crunch time now and it will be a disappointment to not get 5/6 points against CAL, VAN & SEA. Going to assume Igor gets the first 2 then Halak gets the first end of the BTB on Friday.

I agree. I just meant it to be more of a “wha?” kinda reaction. Because it just doesn’t make sense and kinda came out of left field, for him to return. However, I’ve seen crazier things happen, lol
