I remember Portie reporting that Nikitin is going back in vs DET. I really hope they do not sub out Savard or Murray. Both have deserved their minutes IMO. My guess is Prout, hopefully it's Wiz.

That one is a little bit of a head scratcher. He made it to Detroit, but did not skate in the morning skate. Hopefully he's just to tired to play and nothing more.

With the additions of Alfredsson and Weiss, the Wings can keep Zetterberg and Datsyuk together, and the Wings are deeper than at any time in recent years. This at a time when we're losing bodies. It will be interesting!

But they played last night, so we might be able to exhaust them with a strong physical game.

I like our odds in this game assuming we outhit and outgrind DET, which is very doable imo. Look for Det to put Zett/Datsyuk out against Joey's line, and us to counter with Anisimov on the quick line change....gotta win that faceoff to pull that off.
