It’s been said a billion times in other circumstances, but really, if Laf gets L1 Thursday and doesn’t get a hat trick, 4 assists, 22 hits, and an xGF% of 97, well….

Then he’s going to Buffalo for 2 picks and V Olaffson at the TDL.

And in 2028 we will all regret that day, when he finally gets to 30 goals. I sooo wanna believe in this kid, but this is my official reverse jinx.

C'mon Laffy. This is no laughing matter. Get some.

I'd planned on wearing my new Laffy jersey for first time tonight months ago...but was reconsidering because of all the talk the last few weeks.

Then the hockey gods stepped in and he's on the first line -- Hollywood couldn't have scripted this better!!!

Tough matchup. Stars are a good team.

If they stay out of the box and play a 60 minute game they could come away with two points.

Last 4 the Stars are 2-2 with a loss to the Ducks

Prediction: Now that a kid is forced on PP1, the group score 2 goals. Whichever kid it is gets 0 PP points but is the 3rd pass on both goals.

Hoping Kakko will play on PK1 with Mika. He should also be playing on the PP1 over Laf who hasn't done anything expect being the #1 pick.
I wonder if last year you felt the opposite and that Kakko "hasn't done anything expect being the #2 pick"....

Holy moly, over 27% PP success rate and they're only 5th. That's crazy

Similar game to the one against the Wild. We've been playing very well lately, especially at home. Dallas is no slouch though, they have top talent and a very good goalie. But I think we keep our run going, need to get points every night in this race.

Yup. Dallas is a very good team and they do everything well. Offense, defense and special teams are all good. Another good test.

This should be the lineup when Kreider returns:

Laf - Mika - KK
Panarin - Trocheck - Krav
Kreider - Chytil - Vesey
Goodrow - Rydahl - Gauthier

Brodzinsi as the extra
Blais sent packing
I'd be happy if that was next year's lines. This year......not so much, especially now. Mika has already been a little less than. If he was really on.....he would have 10 in the last 5.
So, with that as the 1st line, and KK always being snake bitten, who is putting the puck IN the net?
Again, I do want that someday, just not sure if it will happen.
Also, been thinking Kreids should be there to FORCE more responsibility on these future "Stars".
