We all thought something was wrong with Duchene in the Nashville game and then he shows his amazing speed against Chicago and I guess hes not so old/injured/knees look fine  .When it comes to injuries with the Avs who really knows anyway. They don't even know.

I still think that Duchene has slowed down quite a bit.

He is still one of the faster players in this league but he was IMO much more explosive in his earlier days.

But in exchange he has become a way better goalscorer and he has way more core strength than he had back then and is one of the best when it comes to shielding the puck.

Also his spin-o-ramas don't fail as much as they did back then.

I am also not sure if Mac is as fast as he was in his rookie season.
It might be teams adjusting to him (and Duchene for that matter) but while he still is obviously one of the fastest guys in the league, he doesn't wow me as often with his speed as he did in his rookie season.

Not sure that bulking up so much was the right decision for him in that regard.
