After a well deserved break over Christmas, the Winnipeg Jets are back at it tonight in a game against the Minnesota Wild at Canada Life Centre. The Jets are coming off two consecutive losses at the hands of the Boston Bruins (3-2) and the Washington Capitals (4-1), and are now 21-12-1 for the season and 5-5 in their last ten games. The Wild lost 5-2 at the hands of the San Jose Sharks in their last game, and are 19-12-2 on the season and 7-3 in their last ten games. Can Coach Bowness rally the Moose, er Jets to victory tonight, or are the Wild primed for another beat down of Winnipeg like their last game (6-1) in November. Let's hope it's the former rather than the latter...

Okay, in all seriousness, what actually is the status of Cole Perfetti?

Now that the fabulous glow has faded from us beating the Oilers just before Christmas, it's time to focus on the long mid-winter stretch in which important points need to be banked. Perfetti is a pretty major part of our depleted line-up. If he's now out for any length of time, we're going to be in the capitalized world of Significant Trouble.
