Something that really stands out about Chicago's roster..

The only part of that roster that looks strong on paper is their defense. As someone else said, you can barely recognize 3/4ths of that forward line up lol.

I have no desire to watch this. I've watched this team religiously for years, often starting games at 11pm if I missed it live, even on worknights. If I don't watch this game it will be the third one in a row I've missed, which probably has not happened in close to a decade. I just don't have it in me anymore to endure. It'd be one thing if this were some expansion team dressing a line up of borderline NHL'ers. But it's not. This line-up is intentionally built like this. I might try to watch the World Juniors. They might remind me why hockey is supposed to be fun to watch.

Yeah the guy can't play 3 games in a row and when he does, he always craps the bed on a 3rd game. He's damaged goods unfortunately and I doubt we'll get anything for them even if they did try to trade him (which they won't). He's gonna end up being our next bad contract that we blame which is a shame because he's a decent goalie at worse if not for injuries.

Guy has played 50+ games for the avs 4 times in 5 years only one being a lockout year. These are just knocks...if the avs were playing meaningful games he'd be starting.
