Trying to stay pessimistic as Leesmith advised :). I don't bother about game with Habs, I feel potential "Giddiness from Success" :)sarcasm:) would be huge challenge for our youngsters. No doubt Torts navigates our ship in the right direction.

I'm happy with the 4 points this week. Let's just hope the Jackets stay focused and even-tempered. I hope they just play their game at a high level, maintain their structure and see how it turns out.

Trust the process!

*If I can think of any other cliche's I'll be back to post them.

Montreal's centers are BAD.

We'll at least win more faceoffs tonight.

Wish we had a bit more time to relish last nights victory, but I won't complain about watching another game before the Christmas break.

I had no idea MTL was so banged up. Looking at that line-up, I'd say it should be another W.

Normally, I'd expect a let down after a game like last night, but this team is different, and Torts has them all in the same mindset.

Props to Al Montoya for coming back to Nationwide. Maybe he will find the dignity he lost here last time.

I wonder if the Jackets will come out focused. Maybe it's a good thing they're playing the next day, as there might not be time for a letdown.

Montoya going in goal is fascinating - wouldn't be surprised if he has a great game.

Likely another game they need to get through the first period. I suspect a bit of a hangover but this team does appear to be all in to what Torts is selling. It won't be another blowout but I'm going to ride the gravy train until they prove otherwise!

CBJ wins 4-2. Gagner, Werenski, Hartnell and Dubi (EN)

Wow, Montreal caught the injury bug I see. We should be able to win facing that lineup. I have a feeling Montoya will stand on his head, or get blown up again.

Go Jackets!

Will be there and am hoping the streak isn't stopped tonight. Habs will be stoked in the first period for some pay-back. I think if we can weather the early storm, we should be able to outlast them.

Just put the ham in the oven, so my Christmas has officially begun. Hoping for it to be ready before puck drop, and of course a Jackets win would be nice too.

This is going to be a tough one for the boys to bear down, focus and take care of business. Even I am still geeked up from last night.

If we pop a couple of quick first period goals I can see Montoya's confidence being shot pretty quick. Let's make it 12!

Wife: Who are we playing tonight?
Me: Montreal
Wife: Are they any good?
Me: They're like the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league.
Wife: Isn't Pittsburgh is the best team in the league?
Me: Yeah........ actually WE are the best team in the league! :amazed:

Somewhere in there there must be a great parody...

On the 12th day of Christmas the Jackets gave to us
12 teams a-sulking,
11 teams a wondering
10 teams a mazed
9 teams a fraid
8 teams a bused
7 teams a wed
6 teams a weakening
5 Hartsy goals
4 teams a running
3 teams a hurtin
2 teams a missing
and Ryan Lambert in a **** pot. (alternate take: and Al Montoya in friggin' goal)

Merry Xmas or Happy Holidays (your choice) y'all
