Could be that he was trying to teach the team his signature defensive zone exercise where he stands in the middle of the other team passing the puck and shifts his weight like he’s about to skate at them but instead just continues to stand still and shift his weight in the general direction of the puck. To Keefe’s untrained eye it might look like that’s the players not doing anything and being lazy.

It is called deception. He is hoping one day the other team will forget he is there and may hit him with the puck, OR is that his dance move from the room and his fine taste in music.
