Why is Nikitin on the PP? He killed all chance to score by shooting right into an Avs player and then 15 feet wide of the net instead of moving the puck.

I would guess its because of the kind of shot he scored on, last week.

they were playing that 5 on 3 like it was a 4 on 3 with Nikki blasting shots from the point. Not very clever with passes with a 2 man advantage.

Liking how the Jackets are crowding the net 5 on 5 so far..

We don't have much talent there (on the 5 on 3), but I think are tactics are bad too. We should put a guy like Erixon in the QB position instead of Nikitin. And at least try to pressure on the goal mouth cross ice passes. Every other team knows we don't try it.

I am an equal opportunity hater/praiser and I have to say that Dorsett has stepped it up lately.

He's not taken as many stupid penalties and uses his speed and agitation as an advantage and has netted some points as a result a la Tyler Wright.
