GDT: Game #21- Jets host Avs @ 7pm CT

As I posted in the GDT Sign Up thread,
One of my Dad’s favourite sayings was, “God hates a coward, Jr..”

So I’m attempting to extend our winning streak against the defending Stanley Cup champions. Let’s see how it goes.




To seek the sacred Stanley Cup
To win it on Home ice
To break the drought for me & you
and drink bubbles of paradise.

Of winning this trophy
For us a mystery
From the Bombers book, we need a clue

We topped the frozen salary cap
At Chevy’s hands we know

Ya the Jets are offering a good deal on those Tuesday games, ticket and a beer and it works out to 56 bucks. The Dude is going next Tuesday against Florida.

A good test vs the Avs to be sure, but a loss here would sting much less than our blowout loss against the Wild.

I’m looking forward to the challenge tonight.

Jeez, look at those lines for Colorado. Think the Jets are shorthanded? I hope the team plays the right way to negate Colorado's attack, which is one line. And make their defense have to defend with a good forecheck.

Ah Plum Coulee, the memories of going down to Gretna to visit my grandparents and trying to convince them to take me to Altona for ice cream. But always going by Plum Coulee. Didn't there used to be a ferry there to cross the river?

I'm not sure they'll keep up a challenge for 1st place kind of pace all year but I think they're definitely good enough for a decent playoff spot.
