I don't think the Canucks are trying to rope the Kings, it's just them getting hemmed into their zone over and over again.

:) Yeah, maybe.

Although it would LA's half of the rink that's been largely empty on the night. ;)

I see what you did there....

Booth is auto buyout.

It's down to garrison/ballard.

By what AV things about ballard, looks like he is the odd man out.

IMO garrison has not been Buy out worthy. The only issue I have with him is that he does not excel at anything really. Like a highly paid tanev with a good shot.

Booth won't be bought out. You can keep dreaming though.

Garrison has been the best defenseman on the night too... :loony:

Our fourth line played so little. Still needs improvements in that area.

Booth is a $4.25M cap-hit.

But yeah, we could allocate our salary a little better if were *able* to acquire players good enough with what we have.

He has played 5 games since last April

I hope you never have to teach a child to read

Booth - 4.5
Ballard - 4.2
Garrison - 4.6

= 13.3 million in salary wasted on underachieving ex-Panthers.

To compare, Minny is paying 1.7 million more for both Parise and Suter.

Garrisson played great tonight, booth i thought played decent had an assist worked hard.

Ballard has been very good this year our coach just hates him.

Not sure why your bringing this up now.
