Keep it on the game please and not the other team's forum. Thank you.

Matthew - I think there might only be one player left with a hang-dog mentality, one who has the ability to suck the wind out of the team.

Two, and Pete already metioned them.

Just dropping in to say how damn impressive Calvert was tonight. He was all over the place in dominating fashion. Hope JmfJ is alright.

Best of luck tomorrow with the Hawks, I'll be cheering you guys on.

Nice to see some Jackets fans behind the Jackets bench.

Good looking ones too, right?

On a related note, Aucoin really seems to have a leadership quality. Lots of interaction on the bench with youngsters and got the ear of the officials a time or two as well. So FWIW...

Don't know if this was shown on TV but Bob skated over during the last stoppage of play before he was pulled and tapped the boards and tried to get the boys going.

I liked A LOT of what I saw (up close) tonight.

Well, at least we are consistent. No issue with the effort. A questionable play ends up in the net. Lose a one goal game.

Hopefully JMFJ is ok, but overall the defensive unit seems fine. Not too concerned if we lose him for a couple of games.

Let's see if we if continue that tomorrow night.

Bob is clearly and unquestionably the better goalie on this team. He's kept us in games like this where we should be blown out.

The former might be true, but never felt were we even close to getting blown out. Felt like we had the better of the scoring chances most of the night. To be honest, the Blues weren't all that impressive tonight. Probably explains their losing streak.

Yeah, and add in real bad goal tending too. Halak was hurt and Elliott was awful. Rookie Jake Allen came in and played a few really good games to stop the slide. It was an ugly stretch. Still not playing great either but atleast the goal tending has been better.

Good game, not as physical as I expect from these two teams so far this year against each other, but good game. I can't lie, I enjoy losses, as each one that mounts brings us closer to an elite talent at the draft.

The crowd at Scottrade was a good one for the Blues. They were loud and there were no "organized" cheer sections. I'd love to see Nationwide like that.

Considering the timing of the save, I was impressed by it. 6 on 4 with a few seconds left. You gotta make the good save.

Yes, the save in on the front page of NHL.com as well. Thats a pretty tough save, maybe not a save of the year candidate, but certainly one of the best of the day.

Great effort, good stuff across the board, I'm "happy" if that is possible.

Time to move Cam to a new line imo.

Good interview with Hitch during the 1st intermission. I like what he said about young players in the league being targets. He also makes some real good points about having to build a workman's culture before adding high end talent. What we are seeing from this team right now is the emergence of that culture. I can count on one hand the number of guys that aren't playing well right now, and none of them have been terrible. Hitch also echo'ed JD's sentiments about this team not being outworked.

Once we get our centers back (17,42) I gotta believe Brassard sits and Collins goes back down.

Fixed :P

I think this season JK is trimming off the fat. I honestly have no ideaw whats going on in his head, who he likes, and thinks has potential etc. But I sure would love to.

I'd give the Cam-Brass-Umby line some more time. Brass and Umby have been improving a lot, and starting to create a lot of chances. Cam is the perfect guy to run with them. Am I the only one who sees this?

I see it the same way.

Umby is not a hands guy, he's a clean up specialist. That's not an insult to him, it's actually a compliment.

I think that line has a lot of potential and could produce consistently if they don't have such a large target on them. We need AA and Dub back to take some of the heat away.

With a healthy roster..
