i think they should just keep Johnston, Leason and Carrick together. Seemed to be working fine.

See I'm not so sure there. I WOULD like to see if Leason could produce off the bottom line. But we KNOW Carrick can. It would actually be good if we could try to help Carrick score more. He has more to his game I think, and while Johnston does serve his purpose, he doesn't really bring any offense. Putting Groulx in his spot doesn't help Carrick in the slightest. And Leason just hasn't been producing, at least on that bottom line.

- Carrick: 4 goals, 2 assists (17 games)
- Leason: 2 goals, 1 assist (15 games)
- Johnston: 2 assists (15 games)
- Groulx: 1 assist (11 games)
- McGinn: 1 assist (2 games)
- Silfverberg: 1 goal (should be 2), 4 assists (17 games)
- Jones: 1 goal, 2 assists (14 games)
- Henrique: 3 goals, 6 assists (16 games)

I didn't break down points by ES vs PP, but this is sort of telling. Our bottom 6 just sort of suck at producing any type of offense. Of these, Carrick and Henrique are the ones we could potentially get more out of (though Rico's on standard pace for > 0.5 PPG which is not bad when he's not playing top 6).

I do admit Silf has looked better lately. Light years better than pretty much all of last year or the year before, I think. But still barely 3rd line worthy.

I do feel we could get 3 lines where all players are able to contribute. This is why I feel having 3Cs (McT, Leo, Z) could work. Vatrano, Strome, Terry, Henrique, Killorn, Leason, Carrick, and maybe Regenda if we bring him up are all able to put up some points, if we have the right lines and matchups.
