In fairness to Zuccarello, that's only been 7 games, and in the first 5 of those he only had 1 point anyway. Plenty of complimentary wingers have had such streaks. He has 19 EV points and 25 PP points. For comparison, Kaprizov has 30 and 27. Zuccarello most certainly appears to be a PP specialist at this point, but a large percentage of his scoring has still been done at even strength.

His turnovers are annoying to me, and I think he's less than half the even strength player this year that he was 2 years ago, but I think some context was needed to what you read.

Well, the last 2 games they had 13 GA - it's fair to say that the Defense play has been bad. I don't blame the Goalies because look who is playing in front of them. But thats something they need to fix if they really want to grab a Playoff spot.

I’m fine with having a PP specialist on the team who is P/PG, and makes 4M(next year).

Well that’s the entire issue isn’t it? I complete lack of top 6 options. Contract year marjo clicking with Boldy for a month sure did f*** us. We could have had Nyquist.

It sure would have been nice to get Yurov over here.

Walker was a very late round pick that we got for nothing, and Beckman was a 3rd pic. Those are not busts.…it’s a win if you get any NHL games out of them at all.

Zucc is fine on that 2nd line. Nobody better to replace him and him on the 2nd line results in the killer 1st line we have now.

I'm more upset with Rossi playing with the two L's on the 3rd line. No offense meant for the L's, they've played decently... but Rossi, MarJo, Zucc is a better line and I think Hartman would be fine on the 3rd.
