Flyers complete draft list. Not as flashy or as Igor/Yegor/Egor heavy as I would have preferred, but we did get the #1 ranked Igor/Yegor/Egor so I can't complain that much.

1-7 - Philadelphia - David Reinbacher, D, Kloten (NLA)
3-71 - Philadelphia - Carey Terrance, C, Erie (OHL)
3-80 - Philadelphia - Yegor Rimashevsky, F, Dynamo Moskva (MHL)
4-103 - Philadelphia - Ethan Miedema, LW, Kingston (OHL)
4-123 - Philadelphia - Tyler Peddle, LW, Drummondville (QMJHL)
5-135 - Philadelphia - Ivan Remezovsky, D, St, Petersburg (MHL)

Thank you, @Chuck Downie

His grandfather played for the Robins, the predecessors of my favorite defunct team, the Richmond Renegades.

Oh and the Flyers too, I guess.

With pick 202 of the 7th round, the St. Louis Blues cap their fake draft with Larry Keenan, D, Culver Military Academy Prep (USHS).

Larry is named after his grandfather, who played parts of 4 seasons with the Blues (and 14 games for the Philadelphia Flyers in 71/72).

The Blues are pleased this late in the draft to get a 6'3" skilled defenseman who is ranked 73rd among North American prospects by Central Scouting.

Blues Draft Recap:

1-10 - St. Louis - Oliver Moore, C, USNTDP (USHL)
1-24 - St. Louis - Dmitri Simashev, D, Yaroslavl (KHL)
1-29 - St. Louis - Ethan Gauthier, RW, Sherbrooke (QMJHL)
3-74 - St. Louis - Lenni Hameenaho, RW, Pori (SM-Liiga)

With the 205th pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, the BUFFALO SABRES select, from Kalpa of Liiga, Goaltender JUHA JATKOLA.

Juha Jatkola, Kalpa (Liiga)

After helping the Finns to the gold medal game of the 2022 world juniors, only to fall short, Jatkola meant business. He was KalPa’s starter in his first year in the top Finnish league, posting a 20-11-8 record with five shutouts, good for second behind Ottawa Senators prospect Leevi Meriläinen (eight) for the most among U-21 goalies. Jatkola was good in the Liiga playoffs, even earning a shutout in a game against the Pelicans, but the team ultimately fell short. The second-ranked European-based goaltender by the NHL’s Central Scouting, Jatkola has another year left on his Liiga deal, where he’ll likely be the No. 1 goalie again. Given he’ll be 21 by then, and set for another year of pro hockey, he’s already farther along the development process than most other goalies."

@Kelmitchell2 you are on the clock

Lou refuses to come inside. He's standing in the smoke breathing deeply. He said that "4th line air builds 4th line lungs." OK.

He also said (after coughing up probably a bit too much blood) that he's angry I keep bothering him with this. That if he wanted to draft so badly, he wouldn't have traded away picks. Then he spit on me and told me to just pick the biggest guy left. I asked if he'd like to go just a little bit smaller and take any of the guys who are actually regarded as hockey players, and he spit on me again. Ok, fine.

Joakim Cyrus Stalheim - G - Sudrets HC/Division 2

I'm sure if Lou were in here instead of building 4th line lungs, he'd tell us that this 6'8" and 216 leeb goalie can play the 4th line in net.

2-50 - NYI - Oliver Shroeder, D, Hudson (USHS)
4-114 - NYI - Noah Berger, LW, Vasteras (J20 Nationell)
5-146 - NYI - Roni Alanko, C, Espoo (U18 SM-Sarja)
6-178 - NYI - Matus Brnco, D, Zvolen, (Slovakia U18)
7-210 - NYI - Joakim Cyrus Stalheim - G - Sudrets HC/Division 2
