As an aside does anyone know how they hand out assists in the NHL. It seems that as long as you were on the ice in the last 5 minutes before a goal they will give you an assist.

The fact that a weak goal like that against an AHL roster is considered a major accomplishment for him is all the enjoyment I need.

The thing the panel didn't point out is that those three Atlantic Division teams are comfortably in a playoff spot with not a whole lot on the line. Unsurprising that they might come out flat in a game against Buffalo. The Flames before this latest losing streak probably would've done the same.

Not one person has lauded it as an accomplishment. Most people are just happy he scored. Only one person had something negative to say about this latest Janko goal.
