After 10+ years of hearing how bad our current jerseys are we decided to change back to the almost universally loved jerseys from our golden age, it took a little while despite the jerseys changing like 3 times during this period.

I have a theory that the Flames changed jerseys from the originals because they knew the Flames were going to go through a period of bad teams and didn't want the originals associated with that. Plus they felt they could make money from different jerseys. We never should have changed.

As Mark Giordano commented this morning he and his mates love the 'retros'. Not only does it instill tradition upon the players, he thinks they're the "coolest" jerseys in the league.
