I'm hoping for a 3x3 or less AAV, but I'm assuming a 3.5 x 3 is likely (Engelland special/Montour comp?). I'm wondering if Zadorov was playing hardball on contract negotiations because he just wanted a place to settle down with a consistent role.

For those lamenting a 3rd... I guess it's annoying only if we don't keep Zadorov for more than 2 seasons. However, looking at the prices of other dmen moved this summer, the price isn't bad and it's a surprisingly OK fit for being a guy not on any of our radars (even though the MO checks out in so many ways).
