Why would Arizona accept this? Garland by himself is worth more then Yandle @ 25 retention plus Connolly and a 2021 1st round pick+2022 2nd round pick+2022 3rd round pick let alone adding OEL who only wants to play either in Boston or Vancouver plus there were reports that Yandle wants to stay on the east coast only. Doubt either team does this.
No. Would be nice to have Garland, but OEL has more term and costs more than Yandle...so essentially we’d have like 10 mil invested in OEL.
Also, think one of the reasons management wants to move Yandle is so they don’t have to protect him and leave one of Gudas or Forsling exposed.

Not even close. I’d be willing to part with Garland for Lundell. No chance I’d accept just a pile of “stuff” for him. People really have no concept of how good this player is.

No reason at all to trade him for less.
Look, I love some of Florida’s B prospects. Emil Heineman, Justin Sourdif and Ty Smilanic were all way higher on my list and I like their progression, so far. I’d love to add any of them. I don’t even want to hear names like that when talking Garland. It’s not even close.
