Finland Celebrations

20 000 people were celebrating yesterday in Oulu. Team was presented by the aboriginals from the north (Granlund, Aaltonen, Kukkonen, Jaakola, Pesonen and Pyörälä).

We will not fight another war in the next 100 years.

And if we will, I don't think it's going to be a war where our badly educated troops could do anything but delay the defeat.

1940s and the Winter War-times are long gone. There's no need to trouble the youth in their prime with some ancient threat from the east.

Proffesional armed forces with people who are actually motived would be much more effective in a modern warfare.

A nice video made by someone. A finnish version of "miracle on ice". Doesn't take anything away from the original happening, but the clip from the movie is a perfect match (Coach Brooks speach) before the final. If Finland would have lost this match it would have been a disaster for them.
