I've heard plenty about Chris Bourque, Paul Stastny, and Patrick Roy's son (sorry :dunno: ) recently, but are there any other sons of NHLers that are up-and-coming and have a shot for the big leagues?

This year? Last year there was Jeff Tambellini(Steve Tambellini) and Robert Nillson(Kent Nilson) who are sons of former NHL'ers.

Blake Geoffrion (grandson of Bernie), is said to be one of the top 88s out there.

It's really doubtful but what I'd like to see again is a combo father and son. That would be pretty special in today's NHL. Young players need a lot of seasoning pretty often and conditioning/season length is very demanding for older players.

It is very doubtful we will see that happen in today's NHL although it IS mathematically in the realm of possibility.

His dad Danny was a first round pick and played in the NHL, and his great-grandfather (the father of Boom-Boom's wife) was "Stratford Streak" Howie Morenz, another Hall of Fame member.

Arguably the best multi-generational hockey bloodlines in history?
