The 2006 U18 team for Canada that will play first will be the 1988 born club at the IIHF Championships in April.

At this point I don't see Ryan Kerr making any U18 team in the future. I have not been impressed at all with Kerr so far. Just because he was selected #1 a few years ago at the WHL Bantam Draft is no reason to include him at the top of the 1989 class yet.
