I just hope people don't start complaining again if there are big hits tomorrow and calling it "classless" because its only exhibition. Expect them to compete boys!

Im anticipating this game to feel like a playoff round game. For Canada this tournament is win or bust, and like it or not, that goes for the exhibition games as well. Furthermore, the scouts are watching...

No, he was. Hall was drafted by the KHL's Ak Bars Kazan on June 1, 2009 one of few Canadian Juniors selected in the draft.

I can't confirm however it wouldn't surprise me. They also "drafted" Tavares late. The reason players like Hall go so late is because they are nearly guaranteed to play in the NHL and not the KHL (which probably can be considered a wasted draft pick). It keeps an option open I guess....

Also does the KHL have a rule that teams must have an X number of Russian nationals? That would explain why other Canadian junior players weren't taken other than the reason above (more likely to want to play in the NHL than the KHL).
