Actually Mike Weaver was a top pairing defenseman with Jason Garrison for the Cats when they won the conference title in 2012.

I think you are probably right, but the author here seems to think different. I know I remember Campbell setting Garrison up quite a bit on the PP, and Jason was only out 5 games that year but was having groin problems later in the year and in the playoffs. My point still stands that he just wasn't a bottom pairing defenseman his whole NHL career.
