These weekly threads are about football and not the people in here who talk about it. I'm going to progress to infractions extremely quickly if this keeps up.
Liverpool won't finish above Leicester City this year.
I mean, comparing them to SAF's Man U is a little over the top.
Anyone who thinks anything is set in stone is foolish.
There is a long way to go. We aren't even through the Christmas period. The numbers of teams who were in the top 4 (or around there) and fallen off isn't a short one.
Fairly certain at this point last year West Ham and Southampton were top 4. Gonna be a very interesting finish. Obviously I'm bias as a Spurs fan, but I'd love some fresh teams in the top 4. Even if that means Leicester taking a potential spot in the champions league I could live with that.
It's not impossible
Leicester is a great story, but they don't have much depth and it's gonna be interesting to see how they will hold up during the 2nd half of the season.
Not to mention they are 1 or 2 injuries away from dropping points.
Chelsea had zero depth last year and they won the title playing in more competitions.
Chelsea won the league by January so their "depth" wasn't as issue.
