It's tough to say. Many (even Canes fans) were expecting a mediocre rookie season for Skinner. But if I'm guessing if say 20-25 points. I think he'll be similar to Hedman.

Skinner is a Center. Its a bit different. Being a Dman, and a rookie, on a team that's really up in the air? Look for lower numbers

While true Skinner was also a 7 th overall pick and Ekblad seems more NHL ready . I don't think he'd put up great numbers but it's tough to call as you never really know
