Read that JJ is solid on faceoffs. Kings have been losing way too many faceoffs that alone could be the reason. We have been hurting in the FO department.

Oilers, who have poor d zone coverage compensated by puck possessio.

Poor D coverage was only true in the first 10 games and that was an anomaly caused by poor outlet passes. Being a big physical slow team they are great on the boards in the D and O zone but can't defend against fast teams who cycle. It's not really a big surprise Oilers dominate puck possession. They have the puck most of the time and teams struggle to get shots because they barely have the puck.

Oilers weakness is the breakout, overall lack of speed, and a terrible PK. This trade doesn't address any of those concerns but JJ was a non factor and more skill would be nice.

If Gaborik is ready to come back and the kings needed a roster spot, then Andreoff could easily be sent down and buried. Andreoff is making $677,500 and hasn't scored a goal in over 50 games.

You are not looking at the roster correctly. Andreoff's roll on the team isn't to score goals, he's out there to be physical and because he isn't afraid to fight if needed.

What you are suggesting works great for video games but not so much for real teams.

cammalleri has been looking good thus far this season while jokinen has been struggling mightily. makes no sense

Horrible trade for Kings. When Jeff Carter comes back will put Kings over player limit.Hearing Jokinen will probably be a waver wire victim due to numbers. What a dumb trade by Blake.

Cammalleri keep getting thrown away even though he's decent on the ice. Draw your own conclusion but I'm pretty sure he's not well liked by teammates.
