I know it's purely speculation as to what a player will become. I can't see how certain players potentials are rated in the game (newest update a few days ago). Nylander isn't even a medium elite...

I changed Rielly from high elite to medium elite.

Mitch Marner is low top 6 and Connor Brown is high bottom 6 so you could change those.

Yeah - it happens quite a bit.

Not sure why that's the case.

I've noticed that once you get to that cap compliance date (October 6th I think? When you get the warning about YOU HAVE TO BE CAP COMPLIANT!) lots of the potentials change, often back to their originals.

It's strange, but I think it's the game's way of trying to introduce a bit more randomness with their prospect development.

I don't mind it much if it was on players that were drafted later on in the game, but it just seems silly to have random prospect changes on actual players that some of us have gone in and had their potentials set to.

Like who? I have since switched Timashov to low top 6 and Nielsen to High top 6

I think they are pretty accurate, for what it's worth.

Even Neilsen might be a bit high, but for the most part, those are the best I've seen.

Yeah for some reason he always drops into FA.

Maybe the Leafs have too many contracts? It's bizarre to see.
