Also looks like until Bennett is back we will run a top line of Verhaeghe - Barkov - Tkachuk at 5v5, normally Benny is their center.

They only played game 5 together for two periods, had 8 points combined.

That doesn't explain why the poll is so lopsided for Florida. It's lopsided because Boston looked bad while Florida looked good.

Boston also might have given Florida home ice advantage for an easier first round matchup for them and it still took game 7 OT while Florida finished off the team Boston was scared of in 5.
You’re putting lots of stock in a poll that’s filled with people voting for or against one team or the other based on hate. These polls are as useful as ice in scotia bank arena in June.

Shhhhh! You're not suppose to remind them of that ;)

We all know that gentle push of the ref caused the Leafs to fail to score more than one goal in game 7. Yup. Right on.
U said that not me . Leafs choking is nothing new. Doesn't change Marchand should be suspended per the the rule.

Obviously neither the refs on the ice nor the NHL thought it was worthy of a suspension much less a penalty. My guess is because they know their guy is also in the wrong for not only overzealously tackling Marchand but on that particular play blocking the door to the bench. If the Bruins got a too many men penalty because he couldn't get off the ice I'm sure you wouldn't be complaining.

Its hard to say what will or will not happen.

No one gave Florida a chance last year, No one is giving Boston a chance this year....

Florida "should" win, but the margins are pretty thin in the playoffs.

Swayman, special teams could be enough to swing this series.

Lomberg is an effective player. In game, tough for an opponent to like, objectively though he’s effective.
Our newest addition Lorentz really came into his own as the 4th line center in the Tampa series, but he wont be playing once Bennett is back and Stenlund slides down again.

We also have Gadjovich waiting in the wings in case of an injury on the 4th line.

Lomberg - Stenlund - Cousins

Should be the 4th line at some point this series. That takes Lorentz, Okposo, and Gadjovich out of the lineup as our 5th line.
