It's game 7. Force the plane to land if necessary.

The last game I watched on a plane was WestJet and ironically it was the Islanders vs Devils game that decided whether the Leafs or not would make the playoffs and resulted in goalie Wade Dubielewicz briefly becoming a household name.

It was funny to walk down the aisle and see how many TVs were tuned to the game and hear the reactions throughout the cabin as goals were scored.

Streaming while in jail cell can be even more dicey ;)

“I understand my rights, just tell me the damn score!”

It feels like the crying in Toronto has mostly been done already.

Aside from Matthews and Nylander, it's been a nightmare season. Major player regression hurt key parts of the team (Tavares, Brodie, Samsonov). Big off-season signings struggled mightily at times (Bertuzzi, Domi, Reaves) or were immediately gone (Klingberg).

Then to start the playoffs, Nylander and now Matthews couldn't play. On top of that we drew Boston, a team that has owned us historically and this season....Not that the Leafs can seem to beat anyone in the playoffs for the better part of a decade.

The Leafs were written off to start the series by many (including myself), and written off by many more after going down 3-1. Even if they pull off a win here, they are already written off against Florida.

At this point, the mourning is over. I've given all the tears I can after Game 4. Now it's about doing as much damage as they can.

I feel weirdly zen.

Idk what to expect from this game

But if Boston comes out the way they did the last 2 games, I don’t like their chances

Toronto has seemed relatively relaxed the last 2 games, but I feel like the pressure is turned up now

I might need some help convincing my husband that I get the TV tonight for this game since it's on an OTA channel.

On a random note, I'm considering painting my nails blue in honor of the Leafs... since I've decided I'd like to see them win.

As a husband myself, I recommend bribery. Something in the food department.

Works on me.

Nicely done.

Hope it’s a good game with no issues created by the referees and linesMEN ;) making sketchy calls.

As a husband myself, I recommend bribery. Something in the food department.

Works on me.

I drag my wife into temporary fandom with a nice Italian meal, good wine, take a post dinner walk, then settle in.

Damn, and here I was thinking like a moderately cheap brie and the fancy crackers.

Clearly I have no class!

Any traditionally "Toronto" type food with which I could attempt to bribe him?

My money is on him being convinced rather easily :)
and
There should be no problem in your household with painting your nails that color ;) as you could always tell your hubby your nails are actually TB blue...

There’s a kind of comfort in being completely screwed, you know that it can’t get any worse.

Leafs are playing with house money now. Should’ve been over two games ago. Then sudden they woke up.

I actually think they take this game.
